There is a bug on DC protocol, whenever you try to download a file with $ in its path or filename, DC++ thinks it's a token, so when downloading, it will say "file not available".
If it's not possible to change DC protocol, at least it should be removed from the list.

* Files containing $'s are no longer added to share (can't be downloaded later on...) (this is a protocol limitation)
That being said, he can't be using any normal version of DC++ past 0.232. I don't know how NMDC or DCGUI treat the $ in filenames, but if he's showing a DC++ PK, then he's a faker.
