Running a dc++ hub on a network???

Can somebody tell me if its possible to run a hub while im on a network (no router)
cuz i've tried it before but for some reason it didnt work.

Yes, it is possible. Please read the sticky post about setting up a hub. This can be found at the top of the Hubs & Scripts section to which this thread has now been moved.
