Keep Finished Downloads intact when closing DC++

Post by elakafarbrorn » 2003-02-15 22:45

Hi,

I enjoy DC++ very much, but there is one thing that annoys me. It's quite hard to keep track on whether a specific download is complete. The only way is to check what's in the download queue against what's in the finished downloads queue (or what's in the download folder).

Unfortunately, Finished Downloads clears the list when closing the program, and when it crashes (it does crash occasionaly). I would like an option to choose whether to save or clear the Finished Downloads list when closing the program, and even have some kind of autosave function for the Finished Downloads, so that when the program crashes, it keeps atleast some of the enties ;)

Elakafarbrorn, my own personal solution to this is to enable download logging. I also group all of my directory downloads into one priority class, so the files from one directory get downloaded sequentially instead of on a more random order.
