Problem-HUB-This is not a typical how to make a hub...

HI!

I searched all over the forum but i didnt find the answer to my problem!
I have two computers connected together with a crossover cable. The first computer, is practicly a router (has two network card installed)! There is a internet connection sharing and a file-folder sharing beetween them. I tried the yoshi hub software on my first computer and there was no problem. My hub was working. But when i tried to establish a hub on my second computer it didnt work. When i tried to connect on my own hub it says that:"connection refused by target machine".This means that there is no hub on that adress(in this case my adress-my ip ) .
Both machines are running on win2k!

So help me if you know how to solve my problem! Dont understand me wrong i DONT want to establish two hubs...I just want one hub, but on my second computer!

You need to set up port forwarding in ICS. A howto can be found here

Yes I find that FAQ a few days ago but it didnt solve my problems!
By the way that instructions are for the DC++ Client(how to setup the acitve mode).

The same concept behind setting up DC++ in active mode aplies to setting up a hub. That's why he gave you that link. Forward one port through ICS (411 by default) for the hub to run on.

I did that but it didnt work! When you forward the port for the DC++ client you specify that port in the settings(of the client), in the hub sofware there is no option for that. I cant specify that port!
I will try to do this port forwarding again, just in case!

What hub software you using? All that I'm aware of will let you specify what port to use. The default of course it 411...

I tried to setup the port but it didnt worked! Aniway I installed Linux(mandrake) on the second comp. so I will try to setup the hub on this OS now!
