This is something I already use in my own mod of DC. It is one of the very few things I have done to my client.
Basically I was thinking it would be great if the upload and download logs were completely .csv files. They don't have to utilize the extension, but instead merely seperate ALL fields with a comma, allowing the logs to be loaded into a .csv reader (My choice is always Excel).
Doing this allows you to resort the entire log by date, specific times, what files are downloaded most often, least often. I like being able to keep files that are downloaded most often on a seperate drive as it seems to somewhat smooth out the performance of my PC.
Currently the files uploaded/downloaded are not comma seperated, and if loaded as is it sorts all files with the date and time making it difficult to parse.

You do know there are already tools for that with current implementation:

Maybe those tools will help you.
