A new proposal for a more secure Direct Connect

Currently there is no restriction about who's signing certificates. Client and hubs send their certificates one to another via the TLS protocol ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Transport_Layer_Security ). Since this post is very old, a lot has changed in my mind. Please check this thread also
