Onioncat and garlicat as a way to use ADC with IPv6 over Tor

Post by klondike » Thu Oct 30, 2014 11:16 pm

The main problem with using Tor with ADC is that it has no support for UDP traffic. We could of course use TCP for everything in DC (although getting search results would be a PITA for the receiver or we'd need to use the DC hub as is done for passive users), but it is probably not the best idea.

That said, apparently onioncat and garlicat make it possible to create a VPN like environment using IPv6 which can then be used to communicate with the hub and the other clients.

This still needs some research but I'm throwing the idea here mostly wondering if anybody has tried this before.
